Before the healing and treatment can begin for many of these kids, someone has to get their attention. Turning them on to military history and involving them in extraordinary experiences brings self-awareness, as well as an interest in the world around them.

Tracy comes to Oklahoma to visit James after six weeks. She is reunited with Bob who she has not seen in ten years.

Tracy feels that she wouldn't be alive today if it hadn't been for Bob and VisionQuest. She now cherishes the tools for life that they gave her.

"Bob was, like the stop sign. I didn't have any other stop signs in my life until I met Bob. He gave me the opportunity to really be a kid and to look to a parent for direction."
