| They discuss Bob's plan to break through to James. Bob tells Tracy that she is going to have to look back into
her past to try to save her son's future.
When Bob meets James for the first time, he warns him that they
are going to get to the root of his problems and figure them out.
             | For six of his twelve years, James has been locked up in
Colorado hospitals and institutions. The history of James' six years of institutionalization is no secret.
It is well documented in the files that have followed him from placement
to placement. Nor are the medication and isolation secret. This is the first placement where James hasn't been isolated or
medicated. | "The effects of trauma are written all over James,"
Bob says. "It's very unsettling to see how high the wall
              of secrecy is."
He tries to encourage James to talk about what has happened to
              him in the past.
