James is back in Denver in time to play in a football league.
Bob comes to town to check up on James and watch his football game.
James' team is losing badly, and he is upset that Bob is on "his
turf." The volatile combination puts James in a foul mood.
Later that day, an intense confrontation ensues when James tries to slip out of his house and Bob stops him until Tracy returns.
|
The confrontation builds until James has worked himself into an
uncontrollable rage. He takes it out on Bob and directs his anger
at the events in his life against Bob.
Bob feels that James is testing the boundaries and he is
determined to go through it with him.

When Tracy comes home, she is mortified. She endures vicious
verbal attacks from James that sting her to the core.
"You don't know how to be a parent. You can't even
make a decision," James screams at his mother. "You never
should have had us. You should have had an abortion."
But Tracy is determined to work through the rage with James
with Bob's guidance.
