A three-generation discussion led by Bob reveals many things
that have been unsaid for years.
Memories of abuse. Of domestic violence. Hard memories of
events that have affected Tracy's life and relationships.
"I just want my life to be normal. I want my kids' life to
be normal. I want to learn how to have good relationships with men,"
              Tracy pleads at one point.

Franks' denials and lack of memory are just what Tracy expected.
James tries to protect his mother, to comfort her.
Once again, James must try to make sense of things far beyond
the understanding of an average 12 year-old boy.

Bob manages to bring the disturbing revelations around to how they
              affect James.
"Families destroy themselves," Bob tells Tracy
and James. "So they have to heal themselves."
