Knowing the scars that James carries from being abandoned
by his Dad, Bob has arranged for James' father, Jimmy, to come to
see his son after an absence of five years.
Jimmy greets his son with a fantasy of spending time together.
James is so glad his Dad came to see him and afraid of alienating
him that he doesn't show his anger toward him.

James acts out his anger toward Jimmy all the time and it
gets in the way of his life, Bob explains. He tells Jimmy that he
needs to support Tracy raising the kids, not toss out fantasies.
Bob lays into Jimmy for giving James a rationalization for smoking
marijuana. Jimmy admits that his marijuana use has taken his family
away from him.

Jimmy tells James of his own sexual molestation. Bob brings
it around so that James starts to see it as a family problem.
The conversation is just getting started.
