"If I Could" was directed, written 
            and co-produced by Patti Obrow White in 
            conjunction with the Filmsters team. 
            In a sense, Patti White has been living 
              with the story of Tracy for more than 
              two decades. She produced the original 
              CBS News documentary that told the story 
              of Vision Quest and its leader Bob Burton. 
              The in-depth report focused on teenage 
              Tracy.  
            Patti has over 20 years of experience 
              writing, directing and producing documentaries. 
             
             Her 
              credits include the award winning "America 
              At Risk: Seeds of Hope" for Turner/Tribune 
              about five Annapolis, Maryland teenagers. 
             
            She worked for 15 years at CBS News in 
              New York, where she was a producer for 
              CBS Reports and 60 Minutes.  
            Patti has won numerous awards for her 
              work: three national Emmy Awards, the 
              George Foster Peabody Award, the Ohio 
              State Award for Broadcast Journalism and 
              the CINE Golden Eagle.  
             She 
              co-created with her partner, Michael Miller, 
              a television movie-of-the-week for CBS. 
              She also has produced the CableACE nominated, 
              "Wildlife Adventures: Survival of 
              the Yellowstone Wolves" and "Wildlife 
              Adventures: The Great Bison Chase!" 
              both for Turner Original Productions/TBS. 
             
            She resides in Annapolis, Maryland with
