Jim Green - Director of Photography
Jim has more than 20 years of experience working as a cinematographer. He has won numerous awards including an Emmy, a Golden Viddy for Best Documentary and he was part of the Peabody Award-winning coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing and its aftermath. The National Press Photographers' Association, the Associated Press and the United Press International have all recognized him for excellence in photojournalism. Jim lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Larry Wallace - Field Sound Engineer
Larry's career began in the music business where he was the recording engineer and production manager for Paul McCartney and Wings. He was later the live sound mixer for the Allman Brothers, Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, ZZ Top, David Bowie, Reba McEntire and Crsoby, Stills & Nash. He is a two-time Grammy nominee for recording engineer on two Neville Brothers albums. Larry also lives in Oklahoma City.
Eric Bannat - Production and Editing Assistant
Eric came to Filmsters with an English/Film degree from the University of Michigan. He has worked as a videographer for Main Street Pictures in Annapolis. Eric wrote and directed his student film, "Dance Lessons", which won best short film at the Ann Arbor Film Festival.
On "If I Could", Eric served as the production assistant on location shoots and assisted the editor in the cutting room. He is currently writing and directing an independent film. Eric is a graduate of the Key School and an Annapolis native.
Andrea Karfgin, Ph.D. - Consultant
A psychologist and expert in the areas of trauma and eating disorders, Dr. Karfgin is currently the Director of the Eating Disorder Institute of Maryland and also serves as the Director of Trauma Services for the Maryland Mental Hygiene Administration.
In the past, she has served as the Program Director of the Sheppard & Enoch Pratt Hospital Dissociative Disorders Clinic and the Director of an eating disorder clinic for women in Tulsa, OK. She has spent many years treating children and adolescent victims of childhood abuse. She served as the psychological consultant on "If I Could."
Mimi Edmunds - Story Consultant
An independent producer, Mimi Edmunds was the Associate Producer with White on the original 1979 CBS film The Wagon Train Trial. Today, she is a producer/reporter for PBS's "Arizona Illustrated" inTucson. She is also a Professor at USC's Annenberg School where she teaches documentary production.
Mimi was an Associate Producer at 60 Minutes/CBS for ten years. She has produced for Discovery's TLC among others. Mimi added an editorial eye to "If I Could" as a story consultant.
